The Clouds Parted and a Ray of Light Beamed Down

Finally.
A break-through.

This morning was the best I've felt since Boston (April 21st).

I woke up early and ran with an ease I haven't felt in so long, that I began to think I would never feel it again! (speed work 8 x 1:30 x 2:00) My high-ham is still buggin', but it's healing and manageable, so YAY!

Why did I finally have such a fantastic run?

A few thoughts on this…
(Do us runners over think or what?)

Last weekend I made a promise to myself to drink lots of water everyday, eat lots fruits and veggies (and cook my own meals), limit my wine intake to none durning the week, and be conscious of my posture at all times.

Is this why I felt great? Or…

Am I wiped out after work to run well and in the morning I am at my best?

Or…

Am I finally recovered from that virus I got before Boston and from Boston itself?

It may be all of the above!

Regardless, it's good to be back in the game :)
