Last Friday: 7 miles
Tuesday: 5 miles
Wednesday: 3 miles
My right quad has been on the brink of letting me down. My running has once again been a struggle with the onset of a burning sensation in my thigh. As I have gotten in the higher miles (for me anyway) I have realized a thing called muscle recovery. My hope is that I haven't realized this too late. Staying hydrated and eating all the right foods before and after...
The plan for Saturday is to run 9 miles.
I am truly looking forward to it!
Don't fence me in.
Let me run through the wide open country that I love,
Don't fence me in.
Let me be by myself in the evenin' breeze,
And listen to the murmur of the cottonwood trees,
Send me off forever but I ask you please,
Don't fence me in.
Just turn me loose, let me straddle my old saddle
Underneath the western skies.
On my Cayuse, let me wander over yonder
Till I see the mountains rise.
I want to run to the ridge where the west commences
And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses
And I can't look at hovels and I can't stand fences
Don't fence me in.
