Running Log

Last week: 27 total miles

I had the privilege to run with Lisa, our trainer, on Saturday. She changed the meeting time from 7am to 8am because of severe thunderstorms and I was the only one who got the email. I ran the first 5 miles with her at an 8:37 pace (!) I needed that push since my iron issue...

(it is safe to say that my closest and dearest friends are going to kick me in the shins if they have to hear about the iron one more time :)

Without jinxing myself, I think I am back!

I continued to run 8 more miles on my own (out of the woods, mom). At a slightly slower pace.

What I am learning is that training for a marathon is not a linear process. There are many ups and downs, good runs and not so good runs. Regardless of speed and pace, I will run it and eventually finish it!
