Ran with my sweat sister, Rachel. Lots of laughs and a darn good time trying to find our car in the Museum of Science & Industry parking garage after the race. It was good exercise. Who could blame us for not paying attention where we parked, port-o-potties were on our minds. Hey, the running-bond is like the gave-birth-bond...The ultra personal topics become comfortable chit chat.
Remarkably, we ran into my running friend, Mike. The three of us kept a great pace together for a few miles, but by mile 6 we were on our own.
I had a strong run with the finishing time of 1:54 (8:36 avg mile).
This Saturday, last long run 20 miles, which will be like a dress rehearsal for the full that is only 4 weeks away.
