Last week: 26 total miles
Last week was a pull back week for me and this week I will start ramping up my miles again. Lisa, coach extraordinaire, has three 20 mile long runs on the training schedule. When training for my first marathon, I only ran 20 miles once.
It sounds grueling to run 20 miles 3x in 10 weeks, but a few weeks before I ran the Chicago marathon I remember wishing I had experienced 20 miles more than once.
Saturday we had another fabulous run on the trail in the sunshine.
Each Saturday, we usually pass this one man in particular, running the opposite direction. Runners are friendly. Runners like runners. And we say good morning.
Then we pass him a second time on our way back. And he says:
"Make It A Good Day"
I love that he says that.
It is empowering to know that the choice is yours!
