"As I began to love myself I quit steeling my own time,
and I stopped designing huge projects for the future.
Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness,
things I love to do and that make my heart cheer,
and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm.
Today I call it “SIMPLICITY“."
-(attributed to) Charlie Chaplin on his 70th birthday: As I Began to Love Myself
My friend sends a group of us a quote of the day and this was today's quote.
To me, this quote conveys not only simplicity, but an opportunity to tap into your essence.
I am constantly thinking of new projects for the future. Ironically, that energy, the possibility, an idea coming to fruition - that brings me joy and happiness.
When I don't have a bunch of new ideas swirling around in my head, I become a little ho-hum.
Lately, I have a lot of balls in the air, lots of projects going on. And right now I'm loving it.
But, I am also recognizing when it is time to let go of something and to SIMPLIFY.
And that make my heart cheer!
