Last weekend we ran the Shamrock Shuffle, my last "long" distance. What a gorgeous day and lots of fun with friends and 40,000 runners.
Packet pick up was on Friday at Navy Pier. Beautiful day, lots of energy at the Expo...
Nike exhibit #runfree. Nike tread art.
Then the race was on Sunday. Again, we lucked out with 48 degrees and sunshine! Here we are, some of our running group...
This is my 3rd year running this race, super fun. Yesterday, my time was 35:00 (7:03 mile pace) — 13 seconds faster than last year, finishing 4th in my age group. A PR of sorts :) Of all times, my Garmin completely quit on me and I went "old school" with my BabyG (no gps, no pace field). Gotta get that fixed this week!
Next...taper, taper, taper, carb, carb, carb ....
