Chicago Marathon

Running a marathon is an amazing thing. It's one of those experiences you take with you for the rest of your life - from the training, to the race and crossing the finish line. All that I overcame. I think about it all the time.

People comment that they could never run a marathon, that they weren't built to run. I don't believe it.

If running marathon is something you want to do, you make it happen. Just like anything else you want badly enough, you find a way. It's something you put your mind to and don't give up.

A person doesn't wake up one day and run 26.2 miles. You train for it - you gradually work up to run each additional mile.

I can run 26.2 now, but there are days I struggle with 5 miles. But in my head I think, I know I can do this, and I trot along. And when I'm done, with whatever workout, it is the best feeling of accomplishment.

The first marathon I ran inspired me to design this print. It is something that I believe in.

And I believe in you too.

Good luck to all running the Chicago Marathon this weekend!!
